During the month of March, three employees moved into the President’s Office executive suite.
I’m pleased to welcome Tyese Traynham as the new confidential assistant in the President’s Office. Tyese assists visitors and provides technical and administrative support to the president, assistant to the president, vice president for Enrollment Management and Student Development and Title IX deputy.
Tyese has a bachelor’s degree from The College of Saint Rose, where she worked for several years as an assistant and academic counselor for the Higher Education Opportunity Program and the Academic Opportunity Experience Program. More recently she worked at Goldberg Segalla LLP as a business intake coordinator.
Regina LaGatta, chief advancement officer and executive director of the Foundation, and Lisa Mattes, technical assistant, also are now located in the executive suite. Both will play an important role in developing plans and coordinating projects to introduce Dr. Ramsammy to our community’s corporate, philanthropic and governmental stakeholders. Regina held similar responsibilities while employed at SUNY Cobleskill and is well positioned to assist during this important transition period.
